CCWM missionary Julius Hagen was born and raised in Ghana and came to know Jesus when he was in college. From there, his entire world changed.
Julius recognized the powerful hope found in Jesus Christ, and he became grieved to learn that so many villages were without a single church. Julius began to ready himself to tell the Gospel to these unreached communities around him. It wasn’t long before he received his first opportunity while visiting a college friend on break.
Julius prayed for a sick man in the village he was visiting, and when that man was healed, the whole town wanted to know-how, and Julius told them. From one church plant, fourteen other churches were birthed, and Julius became impassioned to continue what Paul states in Romans 15:20,
The Lord opened doors for Julius to receive the Billy Graham Scholarship at Wheaton College, where he finished his Masters in Evangelism and Leadership.
Julius plans to continue forward with reaching those who do not know the name of Jesus in Europe and Africa through a proactive effort to make Christlike disciples who make disciples and plant churches that plant churches.
He and his team also have plans of providing a maternity facility to give pregnant women in the places where they minister with safe, decent, and hygienic maternity health. They also seek to enlarge their farm project in the North of Ghana to grow and provide more food for the children (students), pregnant women, and needy families during the annual drought season.

How To Pray For Julius
Please pray that God would give my team and me wisdom to live in a way that glorifies Him and proclaim the gospel of Christ and make Disciples that look like Him.
Pray also that whenever I speak, words may be given me, so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.
Please pray for God's mercies for Europe as they experience flooding. Please also pray that God would be with all the families who have lost loved ones or do not know the whereabouts of their friends and relatives. That even through this difficult time, they would turn to Christ and find hope and rest for their souls.
Pray for clear direction for Julius in the next steps in ministry.
