Heather Johnson
CCWM Missionary Heather Velvet Johnson serves as a full-time missionary in Mongolia. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute with her undergraduate degree in Intercultural Studies, she planned to move to the Middle East to do ministry. However, after her third year in college, the Lord grabbed her heart for the orphans in Mongolia after interning with Flourishing Future, a ministry in Mongolia reaching the suffering poor and orphans. After graduating in 2014, she returned to Mongolia for full-time missions, teaching English at the orphanage for the next four years before returning to Atlanta, GA, to earn her master's degree in clinical and mental health counseling, emphasizing trauma counseling. Heather is now back in the mission field with CCWM, actively implementing all she has learned to provide healing and restoration to Mongolia's children and children’s workers. In 2024, Heather became the new Director of Flourishing Future Mongolia.
